The terms governing access to Casual Criminalist, newsletter sign-ups, merchandise purchases, and use of our editorial products.

1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using Casual Criminalist, operated by Fulcrum Enterprises s.r.o. (“we,” “our,” “us”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws. If you do not agree, you must not use the Site.
2. Description of Service
Casual Criminalist provides online articles, videos, and related digital content covering true crime, criminal investigations, criminal justice, and forensic science, together with a merchandise store offering physical goods.
All editorial content on the Site is available free of charge. Newsletter sign-ups are optional and may be cancelled at any time. Merchandise is sold separately.
3. Merchandise & Fulfillment
- —Fourthwall, Inc. acts as the Merchant of Record for all merchandise sold through the Casual Criminalist store. When you purchase merchandise, your purchase contract is with Fourthwall; Fourthwall processes payment and applicable sales tax.
- —Merchandise prices are listed in U.S. dollars. Shipping costs are calculated based on your order, packaging, and delivery address; the final shipping amount is shown at checkout before you confirm payment.
- —You are responsible for providing accurate shipping information. Delivery timelines depend on the product, fulfillment partner, and destination.
4. Refunds & Returns
Fourthwall, as Merchant of Record, handles all returns and refunds for merchandise. For catalog products, Fourthwall will replace or refund items with quality or print defects. Made-to-order and print-on-demand items do not carry a general right of return for sizing preferences or change of mind unless applicable consumer law requires otherwise — please review the product and size guide before ordering. Refunds are issued to the original payment method by Fourthwall.

5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:

- —Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Site or any related systems.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for anyone who violates these rules.
6. Intellectual Property
All materials on Casual Criminalist — including text, graphics, videos, audio, and trademarks — are the property of Fulcrum Enterprises s.r.o. or its licensors.
No content may be copied, modified, sold, or reused without express written permission.
7. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, without notice, if you breach these Terms or misuse the Service.
8. Disclaimers
The Service and all content are provided “as is” and “as available.”
We make no warranties — express or implied — regarding accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Prague.
